Welcome to the Banneker-Douglass Museum Foundation

The Banneker Douglass Museum Foundation (BDMF), Inc. is a private, non-profit 501(c) (3) corporation, created and operated for the benefit of the Banneker Douglass Museum. The Foundation was founded in 1976 to support the Maryland Commission on Afro-American History and Culture in establishing and maintaining the Banneker-Douglass Museum as the State of Maryland's repository of African American History and Culture.
